Sunday School
Suffer the children to come unto me

Sunday School meets at approximately 9:45 am, before the 10:00 Eucharist. Children will join the congregation at the Offertory. The calendar roughly follows that of the Newton School System.

For 4-7 year olds
We are using Godly Play, a method designed to help children to become aware of the presence of God in their lives. In the Fall, Old Testament stories are presented. In Winter, we present Advent, Christmas and Epiphany, followed by the parables. In spring, we present the faces of Christ during Lent, followed by Easter, preparation for Pentecost, the Eucharist and the early Church.

School Age Children
This year we are using "Gather Round", a Bible based story curriculum which lifts up the teachings of Jesus, offering alternatives to worldly views.

For Middle School
In conjunction with four other area churches, we will be exploring Rite 13. This is a developmentally sensitive curriculum grounded in scripture and based on the principles that Manhood and Womanhood are gifts from God, and that Adulthood must be earned. We will meet once a month, on Sunday at 4:30.
